Generally I like this author but this storyline is getting stale. The writing is good but there was just nothing that really grabbed me and kept me invested in the characters.
I have fallen in love with this author I recommend this series to anyone that will listen. I can't wait to see what the next book brings.
I love this one just as much as the rest. With each couple again you feel then coming together and apart and back together again. I also love that you still get to see what the other couple are up too and that they are all friends and accept each other and to them they have found a place to call home.
This was a great story though I struggled a little bit believing the connection between Mac and Mirrie. This had more of the feel of a second book about them. It also jumped around to too many people.
I love how everyone ties into each other and I am very intrigued by Spider. I hope we get more of him in future books.
Would you leave your love to save their life? Would you risk your life to save your love? That's the questions that Miranda and Shane face during their love story. Miranda had to overcome a lot in the time that she meet Shane. Shane never understood where or why Miranda just disappeared instead of meeting at his cabin like they had planned. This time around, Shane isn't letting Miranda getting away, and he is going to show her that he's willing to fight for them.
I would call this a great "continuation" of this series because I feel the reader would really benefit from starting with the first book and going through the series to get the full effect. I really enjoyed the characters in this one. There was a separation the occurred previously, that I thought the author did a good job making the reader understand why. I didn't think the relationship was very smooth, but I liked the way the couple worked things through. I find this author's books to be fast, and easy to read--this one is no exception. I would definitely recommend.
As I've said about the other books in this series so far, I completely loved it. My favorite aspect of this series is that the author carries each relationship from previous books in the series along into each new book and advances those relationships as well. I haven't found many series that do that. Typically you just get little small cameos from the previous characters rather than full on involvement. Having the ongoing stories really enhances my enjoyment of the series. I'm surprised by how few reviews this series has. I am thrilled I found it, and I'm even happier that the whole series is part of kindle unlimited.
